Jessica Shoots A Handgun
Mentoring spreads once you get started. My neighbors are a relatively new family of hunters, and I’ve been helping their son learn more about hunting for about three years now. His older sister Jessica asked me about learning to shoot a pistol. She had fired a shotgun before, but never a handgun.
So Jessica, her mother and I headed to my local club for a shooting lesson. We worked on stance, grip, etc. for about 15 minutes, then we loaded up and she did great.
Besides being there to share Jessica’s feeling of accomplishment, the best part is that she had a fun positive experience and wants to go again.
